Now Treating Scars

Inkless Scar Revision

The same serum-based needling technique we use on stretch marks, applied to healed scars. It triggers your skin's own collagen and elastin to soften, smooth, and blend the scar into the skin around it. No ink. No pigment. No cover-up.

What It Is

Your skin does the work. We start the process.

Inkless Scar Revision uses a professional needling device at controlled, targeted depths to deliver specialized serums directly into the scar tissue. This creates precise micro-channels that trigger your body's natural wound-healing response.

Over the following weeks, your skin rebuilds collagen and elastin inside the scar, softening its edges, smoothing uneven or indented texture, and encouraging natural repigmentation in scars that have turned lighter than your skin. Nothing is added to your skin's color. The improvement comes from your own biology.

This is not scar camouflage. Camouflage tattoos skin-toned pigment over a scar to hide it. We use no pigment at all, so there is no color to match, fade, or touch up. See the honest comparison →

Scars We Treat

Flat or indented, fully healed

We work on healed scars that sit flat or below the skin's surface. The two things that matter most are the shape of the scar and whether it has finished healing.

Surgical scars

C-section, tummy tuck, breast surgery, and other post-surgical scars, once fully healed.

Body acne scars

Indented and uneven acne scarring on the back, chest, and shoulders. We treat the body only, not the face.

Injury and accident scars

Healed scars from cuts, falls, and other injuries.

Lighter-than-skin scars

Scars that turned white or lighter than the skin around them, where natural repigmentation can help blend the color.

Textured scars

Scars with uneven, puckered, or indented texture that catches the light.

Any skin tone

Because no pigment is used, inkless scar revision is suitable for all Fitzpatrick skin types, I through VI.

Timing Matters

Your scar needs to be fully healed

Scars keep changing for months after an injury or surgery. We treat them once they have fully healed, which is usually 6 to 12 months later.

A scar that is still red, pink, tender, or changing is not ready yet. If you are not sure where yours is, show us at your free consultation and we will tell you honestly whether to start now or wait.

Our Approach

How your treatment unfolds

1
Free 15-minute virtual consultation

We look at your scar, confirm it is healed and that you are a good candidate medically, and give you a personalized plan and exact pricing. No commitment.

2
Inkless revision session

Serum-based needling across the scar. Most clients describe it as very tolerable. Every session includes complimentary red light therapy to support healing and collagen production.

3
Your skin rebuilds

Visible healing takes 6 to 8 weeks on average, and collagen remodeling continues for months after each session. Sessions are spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart so your skin can complete each healing cycle before the next one.

A Question We Hear Every Day

How many sessions will I need?

There is no fixed number, because the results come from your own skin. Every body rebuilds collagen and elastin at its own pace, so some people notice visible improvement after a single session, while others need a few sessions before the change starts to show.

Healing between sessions takes 6 to 8 weeks on average, and we recommend judging your results only after that window. We will also tell you what nobody else will: nothing fully removes a scar. What your skin can do is rebuild it, so it looks and feels more like the skin around it.

Candidacy

Is this treatment right for you?

We treat skin, so we take the medical side seriously. Please review these lists honestly before booking.

A great fit if you have

  • A fully healed scar, usually 6 to 12 months after the injury or surgery
  • A scar that is flat or indented, not raised
  • Surgical scars, injury scars, or acne scars on the body
  • A scar that is lighter than your skin, or has uneven texture
  • Any skin tone, Fitzpatrick I through VI
  • Tried silicone sheets, creams, or laser without the results you wanted

Not suitable if you

  • Have a keloid or raised (hypertrophic) scar in the treatment area
  • Have a scar that is not fully healed yet (still red, pink, tender, or changing)
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding (we will happily treat you after)
  • Have a history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring
  • Have skin cancer, or are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation
  • Have a bleeding disorder such as hemophilia, or take blood thinners
  • Have scleroderma or another collagen vascular or autoimmune disease
  • Have hepatitis, HIV, or another active bloodborne infection
  • Have an active infection of any kind (bacterial, viral, or fungal) in the treatment area
  • Have eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, or rosacea flaring in the treatment area
  • Have vascular lesions such as hemangiomas in the treatment area
  • Have taken isotretinoin (Accutane) within the last 6 months

Tell us first if you

  • Have diabetes or another condition that affects wound healing
  • Have a cardiac condition
  • Are on hormone replacement therapy
  • Had laser hair removal in the treatment area recently
  • Have a sunburn or fresh tan in the treatment area

Some of these mean we cannot treat you, and some just mean waiting or getting written clearance from your physician first. If anything on either list applies to you, tell us at your consultation and we will advise honestly, even if it means turning you away.

Common Questions

Scar questions, answered honestly

No. Scar camouflage is a tattoo that deposits skin-toned pigment into the scar to hide it. Inkless scar revision uses no pigment at all. A needling device delivers specialized serums into the scar so your skin rebuilds collagen and elastin and blends it in naturally.

It needs to be fully healed, which is usually 6 to 12 months after the injury or surgery. If it is still red, pink, tender, or changing, it is not ready yet. We will confirm at your free consultation.

No. Keloid and raised (hypertrophic) scars are not suitable for inkless revision, and we do not treat them. We work on scars that are flat or indented.

No. We treat scars on the body only. For acne scars, that means the back, chest, and shoulders.

Scar pricing is per session and based on size: small scars (under 2 inches) $200+, medium scars (2 to 6 inches) $300+, and large scars (over 6 inches, several scars, or an acne-scarred area) $450+. Your exact price is set at your free consultation. A $100 deposit books your session and is fully credited toward your treatment.

There is no fixed number. Results depend on how your own skin rebuilds collagen and elastin. Some people notice visible improvement after their first session, while others need a few sessions before the change starts to show.

Yes. It is the same inkless technique, so if you have both, tell us at your consultation and we will plan your sessions together.
