Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SkinAlchemy NYC website (skinalchemy.nyc, the “Site”), booking a consultation or treatment, or communicating with us by phone, email, or text message, you agree to these Terms & Disclaimer (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, govern your use of the Site and our services.

General Information

The information provided on this website (skinalchemy.nyc) is for general informational purposes only. While we strive to keep the content accurate and up to date, SkinAlchemy NYC makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the information, services, or related content on this Site for any purpose.

Not Medical Advice

The content on this website does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our services — including inkless stretch mark treatment, stretch mark camouflage tattooing, and scar camouflage — are cosmetic paramedical procedures and are not a substitute for medical care. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical conditions, concerns, or before making decisions about your health or skin treatment.

No Guaranteed Results

Results from our treatments vary from person to person. Individual outcomes depend on numerous factors including but not limited to skin type, age, overall health, the age and severity of stretch marks or scars, aftercare compliance, sun exposure, and individual healing response. Photographs and descriptions of results on this website represent individual experiences and are not a guarantee of similar outcomes for every client.

During your consultation, we will provide an honest assessment of what is realistically achievable for your specific situation. We do not promise or guarantee specific results.

Treatment Risks

As with any procedure that involves penetrating the skin, our treatments carry inherent risks including but not limited to:

• Temporary redness, swelling, or discomfort in the treated area
• Mild bruising or sensitivity
• Infection (rare, when proper aftercare is followed)
• Allergic reaction to serums or pigments (rare; patch testing is performed)
• Hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation in the treated area
• Unsatisfactory cosmetic results requiring additional sessions

All risks and potential side effects will be discussed with you during your consultation and prior to any treatment. By proceeding with treatment, you acknowledge that you understand and accept these risks.

Aftercare Responsibility

The success and longevity of your results depend significantly on following the aftercare instructions provided by your technician. SkinAlchemy NYC is not responsible for complications or suboptimal results arising from failure to follow prescribed aftercare protocols, including but not limited to premature sun exposure, failure to use SPF, picking or scratching treated areas, or exposure to pools, saunas, or gyms during the healing period.

Consultation Requirement

All clients must complete a virtual consultation before any treatment is performed. During this consultation, we assess your skin, discuss your goals, review your medical history, and determine whether you are a suitable candidate. We reserve the right to decline treatment if we determine that the procedure is not appropriate or safe for you.

Pricing

Pricing for stretch mark and scar camouflage is published on our website. Stretch mark pricing is based on body area (small, medium, or large) with multi-area discounts at 2, 3, and 4+ areas. Scar pricing is based on a setup fee plus length and width tier per scar.

Prices listed on this website are subject to change without notice and reflect a single treatment session unless otherwise stated. Most clients require 3–4 sessions for optimal results. The website calculator provides an estimate; final pricing is confirmed at consultation based on actual size, location, and condition of the area to be treated.

Consultations

Consultations are free and carry no obligation. We simply ask that you let us know in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule, so we can offer the slot to someone else.

Rescheduling & cancellation: You may cancel or reschedule your consultation at any time using the link in your confirmation email.

No-shows: We hold consultation time exclusively for you. Repeated no-shows may result in our declining to schedule future consultations.

Treatment Booking & Deposits

When you book a paid treatment session through our website, a deposit is collected via Square at the time of booking to secure your appointment. The deposit is credited toward the final price of your session.

Stretch mark deposits: $50 per area selected, with a maximum deposit of $400 regardless of how many areas are booked.

Scar deposits: $50 per scar, with a maximum deposit of $400.

The remaining balance is collected at your appointment by the same payment method (or another method of your choice, including cash). Your card is also kept on file securely via Square for potential no-show charges (see below).

Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy

Treatment appointments are subject to the following cancellation and rescheduling terms:

• More than 24 hours notice: You may cancel or reschedule with no penalty. Your deposit is refunded in full (for cancellations) or carried over to your new appointment (for reschedules).
• Less than 24 hours notice: Your deposit is forfeited as a late-cancellation fee. You may still rebook for a future date but a new deposit will be required.
• No-show: If you do not arrive for your appointment, 50% of the session price will be charged to the card on file, with the deposit applied toward this amount. Repeated no-shows may result in our declining to schedule future appointments.

By booking online and agreeing to the cancellation policy at checkout, you authorize SkinAlchemy NYC to charge the card on file for the no-show fee described above. To cancel or reschedule, use the link in your booking confirmation email.

4-Session Package (Stretch Marks)

We offer a discounted 4-session package for stretch mark camouflage, available only for stretch marks (not scars). When you select the package at booking:

• 20% off the regular per-session price for 4 sessions of the same area(s).
• Deposit at booking is the same as a single-session deposit ($50 per area, capped at $400).
• Package balance (the remaining package price after deposit) is paid at your first appointment, either via the card on file or another method of your choice. Sessions 2, 3, and 4 are then included with no additional charge for the booked areas.
• Validity: Packages must be used within 12 months from the date of purchase. Unused sessions after 12 months are forfeited.
• Same client, same areas: A package covers the specific areas selected at booking, for the original client. Sessions cannot be transferred to other people or substituted to different body areas.

Package Refunds

If you choose to discontinue a package after one or more sessions have been completed, refunds are calculated as follows:

Refund amount = total amount paid − (number of completed sessions × regular single-session price for the booked areas)

In other words, used sessions are charged at the regular single-session rate (not the discounted package rate), and the difference is refunded. If you have not used any sessions, you receive a full refund minus any applicable deposit forfeiture for missed appointments.

Example: A 4-session package totaling $1,325 (for two areas at $504/session list price) where 2 sessions were completed would refund $1,325 − (2 × $504) = $317. The two completed sessions are billed at the regular $504 each.

No-show within a package: If you no-show a scheduled session within a package, that session is forfeited (counted as used) and the 50% no-show charge described above does not apply, because the session value was already paid as part of the package.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing by email to [email protected]. Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method only.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Square. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Card-on-file information is held securely by Square in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. All refunds are issued to the original payment method only.

SMS Text Message Communications

By providing your mobile phone number when you book a consultation or treatment, you consent to receive transactional SMS text messages from SkinAlchemy NYC, including appointment reminders, confirmations, rescheduling notifications, and aftercare instructions. Message frequency varies; most clients receive 1–4 messages per month.

Carrier rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.

Opt out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out you will receive one final confirmation and no further messages will be sent. Reply START to opt back in.

SMS consent is not required to receive our services and may be revoked at any time without affecting your ability to book or receive treatments. Your phone number is shared only with our SMS provider (Twilio Inc.) for the sole purpose of delivering messages and is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, and design elements — is the property of SkinAlchemy NYC and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this Site without our prior written consent.

Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to external websites or services that are not owned or controlled by SkinAlchemy NYC. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkinAlchemy NYC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of this website or our services.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Site or our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
