Here’s exactly what to expect after you book.
You’ll get a confirmation email immediately with your appointment details, deposit receipt, and a calendar invite. Your card is held on file securely via Square.
A few days before, we’ll send prep instructions: no tanning for 2 weeks, no ibuprofen for 3 days, and what to wear for easy access to the scar.
We start with a brief consultation, take baseline photos, and confirm final pricing based on the scar in person. We apply numbing cream, then treatment. Most clients describe discomfort as 1–2 out of 10 — scars often have reduced sensitivity.
You’ll leave with aftercare ointment and a detailed care guide. We send check-in messages over the next 2 weeks. Most clients return for session 2 about 4–6 weeks later.
Treatment time and supplies scale with both dimensions. A 2-inch thin scar takes meaningfully less time than a 4-inch wide scar — we charge based on actual work involved rather than a flat rate. The width tier captures how much surface area we’re treating; the length captures how much linear work it is. Pricing this way is more accurate and more fair across very different scars.
$100 is the minimum per scar. Smaller scars (under about 5 inches of thin width, or 3 inches of medium width) take a minimum amount of setup, sterilization, and care that’s consistent regardless of exact dimensions. The minimum reflects the actual time and supplies needed for any scar treatment.
Most scars need 3–4 sessions total, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Newer scars (under 2 years old) often respond faster than older ones. We’ll give you a realistic estimate during your consultation based on the scar’s age, type, and your skin response. Note: we do not treat hypertrophic or keloid scars — those should be evaluated by a dermatologist or surgeon first.
Yes — if you cancel or reschedule with more than 24 hours notice. Inside 24 hours, the deposit is forfeited as a late-cancellation fee. The deposit always counts toward your session total when you do come in.
Add each scar to the calculator separately. We charge per scar, not a flat session rate. Multiple scars are typically treated in the same session if duration allows (up to 5 hours total per session). You’ll see the full pricing breakdown before booking.
Yes. We accept Cherry financing for treatments over $200 (0% APR for qualifying applicants). You can apply during checkout or in studio. Cherry offers 6-, 12-, and 24-month plans depending on the amount and your approval.
Everything for that session: consultation time, numbing cream, all needles and supplies, the treatment itself, aftercare ointment to take home, and follow-up check-ins via email or text. The session price covers one full visit per scar.
